When you think about kids being resilient, you think of one word: BOUNCE! Bounce is the best word to describe kids and their resilience. No matter what, most children are able to bounce back from situations. " Kids are extremely resilient for the most part, they can bounce back from whatever life may throw at them." In life children are faced with encouragements, then are faced with challenges. In this paper, I will also discuss Rocky, and how he is faced with encouragements ,and then challenges.
Children are easily encouraged to go for the things they strive. They have the ability to fight for what matters. They can easily be pushed down, but it only takes one person to give them the bust to strive again. "It's not how far you fall, but how high you bounce." If given the opportunity, kids can be resilient. Don't doubt their abilities to bounce back. .
Today's challenges are hard enough, even when you can't control them. They are always different, and always coming at you. Every way you turn, there is something new to face and conquer. We get thrown these different challenges to see how good we can fight and then win. Living in this society always makes you wonder, "can we be resilient?" In the end, kids will know who they are, and where they come from to know how to stand up for themselves. .
If you look at certain movies like "Mask", you"ll see how this young boy knew his own strengths and values to stand up for himself, and bounce back. He felt like he had to be strong for his mother, and all of her problems. Rocky always knew how to handle situations , and his mother always gave him the encouragement, support, and that little bust to strive again.
Like before a little bust is all kids need to know that they can beat the bad and make their lives great. If a child has encouragements and challenges in his life, he/she will then know how to get by in life. They indeed will become a better person from these struggles and hardships in their lives.
