The Volkswagen Beetle All Over Again

The Volkswagen Beetle All Over Again.
In the sixties and early seventies it was hard for people not to fall in love with the Volkswagen beetle, and now that it has been brought back people are still continuing to fall in love with it all over again. The new Volkswagen beetle is returning something that has been lost in contemporary times. It is new and improved, yet it still embodies the three characteristics that were so popular in the past: dependability, quality build, and added to this is a new feature of nostalgic delight. The new Volkswagen beetle brings back memories by the truckload from previous eras when it was most popular, but also perseveres to keep up with the pace, rush, and complexity of modern life. .
The Volkswagen beetle was designed to amount to a specific purpose. Prior to WWII, Adolf Hitler came up with the idea to produce a car that would provide affordable motoring to the masses. In his ideas to reform Germany, he wanted to make a car available that ordinary citizens could manage to pay for. He decided that along with building huge roads specifically for automobiles throughout Germany, an inexpensive car would solve the problem of unemployment because consequently people could easily and affordably get to and from work. Ferdinand Porshe (famous for the Porshe sports car), according to Hitler's proposal, designed what is now known today as the Volkswagen beetle. The actual official introduction of the Volkswagen beetle was ceased until December 1945, after World War Two. .
The Volkswagen beetle didn't reach its peak of popularity until the sixties and early seventies. During these years the Volkswagen beetle starred in movies, was painted psychedelic colors, and could be seen all over the roads. The Volkswagen beetle serves to be one of the important elements that distinguish the sixties from any other era, right up there alongside Jimi Hendrix, flower power, and the hippie movement.
