The purpose of this assignment is to state and explain my specific topic, the paper format I will use for my final paper, and the information I will need.
The objective statement for my paper will be; This paper will describe currently existing weapons of mass destruction and the different threats they pose. In my paper, I am going to break down weapons of mass destruction into three main categories, nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons. These weapons have been developed and stockpiled by many different countries and are finding their way into the wrong hands. With the recent developments in North Korea, weapons of mass destruction in the wrong hands could have devastating effects on the world, and could very possibly end life as we know it. .
The format I have chosen to use is the thesis paper. I will be breaking the paper down into three separate sections for chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons. The paper will mostly consist of a background section to make the topic familiar with everyone. For the analysis section of the paper I will discuss the specific types of weapons of mass destruction, such as bottulism or anthrax, and describe which are the worst or most effective weapons.
There is a lot of information, both online or offline, for this subject. Most of the things I have found haven't clustered them together as weapons of mass destruction, they are found as a site on chemical weapons, or a website on nuclear weapons. Nevertheless, there is an abundant number of sources I can use.
