We usually think that Internet is what gives is the capability to view documents on our computer from another part of the world, but that is not entirely true. It is true that the internet connects all the computers around the world in a form of a network and gives us the capability to view these documents, but the internet needs the World Wide Web (WWW) so it can show us the documents. The WWW is noting but a collection of documents which are connected with hyperlinks - text with links. Before the WWW when the internet was born for the use of file sharing information between researchers, they had to use many different computer programs to view the information they needed (Nelson 5). Today you can access all the network information form any computer and any country with the help form the WWW. It gives us the ability to view different types of documents, pictures, and it even allows us to view movie clips. WWW is one amazing piece of work, you can do a whole lot of things like sites for learning, make your own home page, using hypertext and hyper links to find information, and there are many other things you can do to make life a little easier.
Today all the science and engineering are forging ahead on the web. This is good news in a way.
