Hamlet- a complex character?

This almost is in debatable however what is questionable is if this role playing and mood swings are part of his true nature or simply another element of his "antic disposition" which he puts on to perhaps hide to the fact he knows of Claudius" sinful actions. It is through the various soliloquies that the reader is most exposed to Hamlets state of mind and where they can gain a greater understanding of him. .
A soliloquy is the act of a character talking to his or herself and expressing their thoughts out loud. It is a point where the reader or audience is basically witnessing someone communicating their private thoughts. Therefore it makes sense to say that what is said in a soliloquy is far more reliable and true than what characters say to each other. His role playing which contributes greatly to his complexity should also be part of Hamlet's true nature because it can actually be seen in his self monologues which would be Hamlet as his most truthful because he is alone, and has no need to hide his real self.
In Hamlets second soliloquy, "O what a rogue and peasant slave am I" the changing moods which are often seen with the presence of other characters is also seen here. He is trying to integrate so many dilemmas and questions he is facing at just one time. The structure of the soliloquies is significant because it can be divided into different section, where Hamlet is feeling different emotions and moods. The opening line is a clear indication of Hamlet being the self critic, he then moves to the thinker, where he wonders at how the players so easily mourn for Hecuba even though they are just acting. He returns back to the self critic, calling himself a "coward," :"john-a dreams" and "pigeon-livered" He is truly disgusted at his own behaviour and his inability to act on his passions and emotions like the actors do, even though his are real and much stronger. Dramatic change is in line 532.
