My previous job was fabulous, it was in Narragansett, and it was at a restaurant. The restaurant was Tavern on Boon Street A.K.A. Term's. First of all, the best part about my previous job was that my parents owned it, and having my parents for my bosses had its perks. For example: if I came in late I would not get in trouble, if I wanted to have a brake I could, and if I wanted to have go and hang out at the bar and have a drink I could. That's just a couple of the perks my previous job had, there were many more. Secondly, being there for four years, having the experience from it, and knowing all the locals was great. I always knew what I was doing and where everything was because I had been there for a while. Knowing all the local customers was a bonus; they would tip me great because they knew me. Lastly, I had better shifts and that means I had better pay. I could get better shifts, which I wanted, because I was good at my job and I was always filling in for someone's shift. I had better pay because the restaurant would be really busy and I would go home with a large amount of tips. Also, I could get paid cash or be on the payroll, which ever I choose, and sometimes my mother would give me extra money in my pay. I do miss my previous job, but my summer job is fabulous too.
