Sociological imagination

With in this problem I would like to use the sociological imagination because I can trace back to the history and biography of African Americans. For example I can go back to the history of African American which will lead me back to Africa. Where those people once had homes and where free till the one day the White man took them and bought them back to a new world which then leads to history and that this point I can trace a chronological records of significant events such as slavery, the civil right movement and the civil right act. In 1866 the civil rights act was passed and this allowed blacks to have the same equal right as the white people, in 1863 president Lincoln issued the Emancipations Proclamation law. A whole century passed and I see a little change for the African American people. African Americans have the lowest encomia statistics unemployment, education, and also face social problems such as drugs, violence, gang's crime and racism. A social problem that I will discuss is unemployment in urban cities. Urban cities have the highest crimes rates and violence gangs robbing killings, and the most people that in live that type of environments is African American and Latinos. I think it is a way of social structure to create low income housing so they can divide the rich people from the poor people. my definition of the unemployment of urban is poor people not having jobs that they can work and pay their rents buy food and other essence stuff. My solution this problem is creating more equal jobs giving parents or single moms daycares that would take care of the kids while the mother can go to work. Another way is educating people; teach the skills they do to do the jobs. They need to make more youth programs so children will have something to do after school instead of standing the corns or joining gangs or doing drugs. I think that we need to change the environment setting of urban areas the house needs to be rebuilding because the way it is build is like living in corned housing where you can only socialize t he people you know and the outside world looks beyond on them.
