There are many races in the world and there are also have many kind of people in there. Nobody can sure which race is good or which one is bad. I knew some about races and about people in my different races from my relatives, older people. I thought that was enough for me to understand people in other race. However, last week I had many opportunities to study and understand more about races, and about people who are not my race, not Asian, not Vietnamese, around me. I understood more about races, about cultures, and about people in different races. I right now can sure that it is very wrong if you look at some one bad and tell that his or her race is bad.
Last week I discussed in group with most of my classmates who are some in my race and some are not. We talked about racism, about cultures, about stereotypes, and about our thinking. I studied a lot of things more such as: not all of black people are lazy, stupid and bad not all white are rich, smart, and nice It's really wrong if you just listen to other people or look at someone bad in their group and then give a conclusion. You have to look at people who you want to know if they are bad or good and understand them by yourself. I was really wrong before when I just came to the US, three years ago, I thought black people are bad .Because I just far away from my parents, I was sad very much, my cousin droved me around Seattle, shopping and we went to alki beach. There were many people around the beach: Black, White, and Asian some of them were playing with their friends, some were reading, some were walking .in peaceful and beautiful weather. Suddenly one group of young black people came in very old big car with volume maximum of some kind of song (I didn't know). They stayed in group and talked very loud in their language which is English (I didn't know at that time, now I know). They talked, then spited, then move their body upward, downward, side to side talk, spit; dance all of them did that.
