Animals like humpback whales and mongooses are a normal site throughout the islands. The coral reefs that are by the islands contain a variety of tropical fish and plants. Sharks and hammerheads are probably the most dangerous animals toward humans around these islands.
Over 6 million tourists travel to the islands of Hawaii a year. There are always activities to do while staying in Hawaii. Most people just want to relax, but you could hike on trails, swim in the Pacific Ocean, explore caves and volcanoes, surf, snorkel, or just site see the beautiful landscape. Tourists bring in over a third of the income to the islands. The main islands for tourist are Oahu, Maui, or Kauai.
