Reproductive Cloning

Once combined, they will constitute a forty-six chromosomes cell, sharing both features of the man as well as of the woman. Therefore, a baby created under the normal manner of procreation would not resemble at a hundred percent to either parents. Reproductive cloning, however, differs from the normal reproduction. In fact, cloning consist of taking for example the nucleus of an adult cell (containing of course 46 chromosomes) and put it into an egg of another person (the nucleus of this latest person's egg has to be removed). As a result, instead of twenty-three chromosomes prior to the fertilization process, the egg would contain forty-six of the other adult cell donor. The division of the egg produces an embryo, whose cells correspond exactly with those of the donor.
There are many reasons and consequences where reproductive cloning is used. It could be employed in cases of homosexual parents, where normal reproduction is not possible because of similarities of sexes. An egg cannot combine with another egg, and a spermatozoid cannot mix with another spermatozoid. Therefore, as mentioned previously the cloning will consist by taking a cell from either parents and duplicates it. This kind of behavior could encourage homosexuality, and worse than that, the cloned child would think that having parents of same sex is normal and having heterosexual parents is abnormal. Consequently, The child will suffer from a lack of having a balanced family, where the mother plays her real role and the father plays his real role. At last, the concept of Adam and Eve, as respectively the father and the mother of humanity, will have no more meaning. .
Using cloning techniques on humans could lead to many other consequences. On a religious basis, for example, reproductive cloning could be seen as a challenge to the uniqueness of GOD to create human beings. Humans would have the ignoble defiance to imitate GOD, and to have a complete control over the process of procreation.
