Reflective thinking

I write best in is when i'm not pressured or stressed out. When i"m writing a paper, I put on some relaxing music and use soft lighting, it helps me relax and write better. It's really frustrating to write when there's a lot of an action going on around me. It could be people or the TV.
I don't see any relationships between the writing I do and the reading I do. The only time I ever write is for school. And that's usually about something non-fictional and informing. When I read I like to read books with suspense, action, mystery and of course a happy ending.
             Reflecting as a reader:.
What I remember about the process of my learning to read was that I really didn't want to read. And if I did I always got the books with more pictures than words. I didn't want to imagine what was happening. I mean reading was easy for me I just didn't want to do it. .
The earliest thing I remember reading on my own was Stuart little. That's the book that got me really interested in reading. And after that I really got in to Nancy drew books. I loved to try to figure out what was going to happen at the end. When I got to the middle of the book I would stop and try to figure out who was the bad guy then read on to see if I was right. I read so many of her books that by the 3rd chapter I could already know who was the bad guy. I guess the differences between my reading and the school readings were that my books really made you think and theirs was usually a morality lesson.
             Synthesis:.
I guess you could say that i"m a versatile learner. I learn by doing hands on activities, reading the material or listening to someone explain. They all work great for me. I like learning activities where I work mostly by myself. I don't like it when you have to work in groups and it's a group grade because someone always slacks off and I end doing extra work.
Ill let my past experiences help me continue to learn by learning from my mistakes like don't get so stressed out about something that I don't learn any thing at all.
