             History, Especially during the 1900s, America has been through its up and downs because of segregation. It caused the United States to split into two separate populations .One population was made up of white people and the other population was the black people. With the U.S. being divided into two parts it had its positive and negative connotations.
             Segregation almost always involves some kind of discrimination by one .

             Superior and inferior group. The dominant groups tend to have control over the subordinate. The dominant group typically believes its members are born with superior intelligence, talents, and moral standards .
             The superior population sees no fault in themselves. In the dominant division the members get better educations, jobs, houses, and public services. They get the best things life has to offer them because they have superiority over everyone and everything. They feel as though the rights they have were given to them from a higher source. And they do not see the system as being unbalanced but they see the system as functioning great. The only reason for them seeing the system great is the fact that their superiority is being strengthened. The subordinate group may have a sense of inferiority that is reinforced by a system that denies it the social, political, and economic benefits enjoyed by others. The superior group at the time was the white society and the inferior was the black society. The white community got whatever they wanted whenever. The reason for that being was the fact that they ran most of the cities or governments. They were the mayors, governors, Police officers and etc. They had hands on everything in the system.
