If it is infactuation then the relationship will not last long. If it is love then it will be a healthy relationship that will last for as long as the partners in it will allow it to. Even though it is love, it does not mean that the relationship will not fail. Why do many relationships fail? Relationships fail from the partners" families, lack of trust and lack of communication.
Family plays a role in relationships also. Some people would say different, but family does matter. Families play the acceptance role in the relationship. When an individual feels as if he or she is not accepted by his or her partner's family, that would contribute to an unhealthy relationship. That would cause a lot of conflict between the partners. But if both families of the partners accepted each of them, then it would be great, the partners will feel as if they had extra support.
Although family plays a role in how well a relationship flows, it is not the most important. Trust is another thing that plays a key role in relationships. If a relationship does not have trust then it does not have anything. Trust is needed for the time that the partners will not spend together. For an example, one of the partners" friends wants to hang out for a night. The other partner has to be able to trust that his or her partner would not do anything that would jeopardize their relationship. If the partner who went out has to answer a lot of question about what he or she did, or is being accused of doing wrong, then he or she will realize that there is no trust. .
Finally, the main reason relationships fail is from lack of communication. If partners do not communicate, then they will not know what each other wants, or expects out of the relationship.
