Insomnia

Insomnia is a condition which affects an individual on almost every level. These affects are shown in their appearance as neurological, physical, and psychological symptoms. These affects are life-altering and for many people suffering from them, they are the cause of excess stress and physiological disturbances. If other individuals are more aware of these affects, then they will better understand the day-to-day disturbances and discomfort that an insomniac experiences.
Insomnia includes difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, and waking up early in the morning. Insomnia can be a symptom of another disorder. It varies from restlessness or disturbed sleep to just sleeping far less shorter lengths. Some individuals suffer complete wakefulness. Some of the contributing factors of insomnia include stress, depression, underlying medical problems, and environmental factors such as the room temperature, the lighting in the room, or noise. The horrible feeling of burning in your eyes because you've been up for three or four days straight is a nearly dead-sure sign that you"re suffering from insomnia. There is often a general confusion as to even what time of day it is, and almost always feeling strung-out. .
Sleeplessness is considered to be a problem when it is severe enough to prevent the brain from getting enough rest on a consistent basis. Having an occasional night without sleep isn't usually considered a problem. However, when sleeping problems last for a couple of weeks or more, the insomnia becomes more serious. Insomnia generally occurs in three forms: transient, short-term, and chronic insomnia. Transient insomnia usually only lasts a duration of two or three nights. Short-term insomnia usually occurs for a short period; simply while an individual is under an abnormal amount of stress; while the worst type, chronic insomnia usually lasts for three weeks or more. Chronic insomnia has the worst and most dramatic effects upon individuals who experience weeks or sometimes even months of sleepless night.
