Confucius

The teachings of Confucius, who was just a normal man living in China, survived through many centuries remaining intact. His thoughts and ideas have affected many people in this world, both their thoughts and ideas. Although it is not a religion, Confucianism does teach how you should live your life to the best and become a superior individual in this world. .
Confucius, who was born to a poor family, lived his life as an educator. He was born in 551 B.C. named K"ung Ch"iu but he became well known as K"ung Fu-tzu, meaning K"ung the Philosopher. His goal was to place his principles to the advisement of political leaders. At around age 50, Confucius became the minister in his home state, achieving his goal because the duke of Lu was impressed by Confucius's wisdom. Besides being a minister. After his reign as the minister, Confucius studied and taught history, music, and moral character. .
Also as a part of his life, Confucius devoted most of his life to studying and interpreting ancient records, which he then organized into five books, the last book being called "The Autumn and Spring Annals". When Confucius died, he gave the books to his followers and students. His followers and students put a book together called "The Analects of Confucius", containing Confucius's wise sayings. In all of these writings, Confucius went through all the disciplines and behavior of what he called the superior individual. However, he seemed to avoid the topic of religion. In his books, we cannot find any discussion of heaven or any theories about God. This is why most people consider Confucianism a system of ethics and philosophy rather than a religion.
Confucius believed that "social order, harmony, and good government should be based on family relationships." The five relationships are between the ruler and subject, father and son, husband and wife, older brother and younger brother, and friend and friend. Most importantly to Confucius, he believed that children should practice respect for their parents and elders known as filial piety.
