Postal Service has been looking for a celebrity from the later 1990's to the early 2000's time period to appear on a commemorative stamp. In choosing a celebrity to hold such a high honor, many facts about that person should be considered. Their accomplishments, how our society thought of them, and what that celebrity has really done to stand out among others, are just a few to consider. As I was thinking of a celebrity to be acknowledged for this honor, one name really stood out. It was John F. Kennedy, Jr. As I describe my understanding of his life from birth to death, he defines the character of an American icon. .
From birth, John F. Kennedy, Jr. was no ordinary child. He just happened to have been born the son of a very famous President, whom was known worldwide for his .
presidency. Although he was born with instant fame, his mother and father worked very hard to give John a normal childhood. With the ability to be offered anything, he remained a very compassionate person, which is very odd among others sharing this lifestyle. .
As a young child, John experienced a huge tragedy. His father, President John F. Kennedy, was assassinated. This incident was a tragic lost to our nation, let alone leaving a little boy forced to grow up without a father. But in the walk of life, time does move on, and John was on his journey through life without his number one idol. .
As a young adult he did very well for himself. John turned into a tall, dark, and handsome man, who very often made headlines as one of the sexiest men in the world. Aside from his outward appearance, he evolved into an intelligent man. Not exactly trying to follow in his father's footsteps, John did attend an Ivy League university. This was just one of many accomplishments for John. Shortly after school, without escaping the limelight, he then proceeded to acting.
John F. Kennedy, Jr. continued to grow into a successful man, and his fame continued right along with him.
