Although not shown in my academic grades I have learned the different characteristics needed to succeed in life. Even though I my have learned these the lessons the hard way, I now know what is needed to succeed; you need focus, persistence, responsibility, and desire. The Vigorous schedule I had placed upon myself through out my life, made me develop and maintain a social life, develop a interest in after school activities and at the same time stride to so better in school.
I believe that in the four years that I have spent in high school really prepared me for reality. Since I am almost out of school I believe I have what it takes to make it in what people call the "real world." Because school really does prepare you for life, I had been ready to take the next step in my life which would be college. I truly believe that unlike many people in the world, I am ready for what lies ahead of me.
The reason why I have a strong feeling for going to college is I want to be the first in my family to complete college. This has been a goal, which was pushed upon me since I was a child, to be the first in my family to complete college. My family has pushed so hard because they believe that I am capable of completing my goal of leaving college with a degree. .
Every day that I wake up, I think upon all the hard work that I have done and think that there is always more stuff that I could do and always a way for me to do better. .
