Global Warming in the Arcti

Humans caused the global warming affecting the Arctic ice. The rise in carbon monoxide caused the rise in temperature, a process known as the greenhouse effects. The global warming will affect the Arctic's wildlife and plant life greatly. The melting that the global warming has already caused in the Arctic is worsening the global warning also. .
The greenhouse effect is the process where gases added by the burning of fossil fuels and industrial pollution to those normally in the atmosphere help to trap unusually high amounts of long-wave earth radiation. Many scientists believe this process will lead to slowly escalating atmospheric temperatures. Another cause for the influx of carbon monoxide in the earth's atmosphere is deforestation. The forest used to cover fifteen billion acres of the earth's surface and now it covers only ten billion acres of the earth's surface because of deforestation by humans. The forests play a large part in turning carbon monoxide into oxygen. The loss of forest combined with the carbon monoxide put out by our fossil-fueled machines and industrial pollution has caused the greenhouse effect. .
The climate change that is expected to effect the earth due to global warming will be more servere in the Arctic and Antarctica compared to other places on Earth. There will be less snow and ice which will make the poles less able to rebound the solar radiation. The inability to rebound the solar radiation will lead to more heating of the Arctic ice and the ocean. Also, a northward shift of biomes will lead to growth of more and taller vegetation in areas that used to have sparse vegetation. This also lowers the ability of the Arctic to reflect the solar radiation. Predictions made by scientists indicate that higher carbon monoxide levels will lead to polar warming that is higher than the global average, with more warming over land than sea and the utmost warming occurring over land.
