How does love change the lives of Romeo and Juliet


He believed that in two more years she would mature and be ready to be a wife. All this talk of marriage didn't interest Juliet. But this was all normal for a girl of those times to get married at such a young age.
             There was a ballroom dance at the Capulet mansion and that was where Romeo met his Juliet. The first meeting was exciting for them as they were young and inexperienced. Too Romeo, Juliet was a vision of beauty " for I ne'er saw true beauty till this night-. They touched hands, which was like a religious meeting of a pilgrim and a palmer. Juliet was very forward and kept dropping hints to Romeo. She didn't want to just hold hands, but to kiss as well. " Lips that thy must use in prayer- referring to the kiss. This wasn't normal behavior for Juliet, as romance didn't interest her usually. The Nurse interrupted them, as Juliet's mother craved a word with her. Romeo then asked, "What is her mother?- nurse replied, "Her mother is the lady of the house-. Romeo realizes that Juliet is a Capulet, someone who is a great enemy to him. Juliet is told that Romeo is "the only son of your great enemy-. This was an awkward position both Romeo and Juliet were in. they were suppose to hate each other, but instead they loved each other. Although they both understood the situation was bad it didn't change the way they felt for one another. When Romeo returned to the party he hid from his friends, as he was embarrassed about Juliet and felt that his friends would make a scene. Romeo has already showed changes as he showed where his heart lies and cut himself of from his friends. This suggested that Romeo has been affected after meeting Juliet.
             After the party Juliet was at her window thinking about Romeo, wishing that he wasn't a Montague. She was talking to herself asking " o Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?- Romeo heard this as he was in the garden trying to find Juliet and express his love to her.
