Marriage and Divorce

The family system is one that revolves around the main concept of love and care. When the parents in a family grow apart, and thus lose sight of their love for each other and stop caring, then a family breaks a part. Divorce. Divorce tears a family apart from the inside out and leaves in its wake a terrible obstacle to overcome, both for the parents and for the children. The problem with divorce isn't so much the ease in which parents can divorce, but rather, the misunderstanding of what the true essence of marriage is. .
It is important to understand the true meaning of a marriage before understanding how divorce can destroy a very basic understanding of love. Marriage is not a legal standing. Marriage is a way of life; a way of existence. When two people are married under the eyes of the law, most likely they have been married for quite some time already. Marriage is the coming together of two individual's souls to where they become one. The idea of prenuptial agreements destroys, from the very start, the entire basis and idea behind marriage. We must remember that when we marry someone we acknowledge that our soul is one with theirs; that we are one with them. When we lose sight of what marriage is really about, divorce becomes the end result. If you marry for any reason other than love, then you will not be happy. This is a very basic and simple concept, but it carries with it much importance.
If a couple marries for necessity, eventually whatever was necessary at that point in time will not be anymore and when that need for one another fades there will be nothing to take its place. If a couple marries early and does not grow together, they marry under the premise of passion. They feel compelled to each other in a lustful needful way; not needing the other person because they love them, but loving them because they need them. When this passion fades, and eventually it will, there needs to be a solid basis of relationship and strong standing of love to take its place.
