Uranus

Uranus is the seventh planet in our solar system. It takes Uranus eighty four years to circle the sun once. Uranus lies on it's side and it is thirty one thousand miles across. Uranus has fifteen moons. .
Now I"m going to answer my questions. Uranus contains mostly rock and water, with hydrogen and helium, and trace amounts of methane in its dense atmosphere. The blue-green color of this planet comes from the methane gas present in Uranus's cold clear atmosphere. Uranus probably has a small rocky core smaller than Earths with a radius no larger than 1240 miles. The cores temperature is about 12,000 degrees f. The body of liquid on Uranus accounts for most of the planets volume. The atmosphere of Uranus, which contains hydrogen, helium, and trace amounts of methane extends about 3,100 miles above the planets ocean. The atmosphere of Uranus is relatively calm and inactive, with few clouds or storms. There are eleven rings of debris encircling Uranus's equator. These extremely dark, narrow ring s orbit the planet in the plane of it's equator. Many of these rings are made of ice and rock boulders about the size of beach balls.
What I learned about this research was that the body of liquid on Uranus accounts for most of the planets volume. I also learned it takes Uranus 84 years to circle the sun. I learned that Uranus was the first planet people discovered by a telescope. And also I found out we do not know much about Uranus because it is so far away.
