It's true, I tell you! The preconceived stereotype of a student toiling with his homework has long been abolished, and the new student image is one of an angelic child sitting upright in desk listening attentively to the teacher in hope of gaining enlightenment. Boys are positively motivated, always wearing thick glasses and a somehow tangible halo. Nowadays, the best way to wake a heavy sleeping student is to softly whisper "Homework". The student will most certainly bolt up ramrod straight, eyes alert, a pen ready in a deft hand, saying, " Where's the homework. I must do it. I love homework. It's so beneficial!" .
Truly, homework must be one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The other six are the school, the pen, the book, the library, teachers, Math lessons and textbooks. The students in the past were mostly juvenile delinquents, disobedient and obstinate. However, a new regime has begun, and students have begun to realise the benefits that homework brings about. Knowledge is a building, and homework is the cement that holds it steady. Homework revises what we learn in our beloved classrooms, paving the path of enlightenment for us. And teachers cannot be anything less than the kindest souls on earth. Once thought of as cruel tormentors, we have now realised that their occasional disciplinary action is entirely for our good. Students in the past were foolish to think of teachers as horrible. Now, we have found the truth-that teachers are the equivalent of prophets; they pass on hard-learned knowledge to us, guiding us on our path to academic excellence. .

Salutations, fellow students and welcome to the new age of homework. The halo hovering over my head grows ever brighter, and the forked tongues of pernicious juveniles ever longer. The venomous rebels are trying to massacre the developing minds of our confused youngsters by spreading their toxin-like messages "Homework is bad!" Fiction, I say, for how can the piece de resistance that is homework be bad? Words are not enough, however, and I shall give accounts of my experiences in order to convince the stubborn and free students from their chains of disillusion.
