Rank leave Nora's house, goes in to ask about the money and how Torvald better not fire him. Krogstad then blackmails Nora and threatens to tell Torvald that she forged her father's signature. .
             Act II: Nora is begging Torvald not to fire Krogstad from the bank, but he refuses and sends him a letter letting him know that he has been fired. Soon after that, Dr. Rank shows up and tells Nora about his illness and confesses his love for her. Nora explains to him that she only cares about him as a friend and nothing more. Dr. Rank exits the room and Kristine come in, and she asks Nora if Dr. Rank was the person whom she borrowed the money from, and so Nora tells her that it wasn't him, i was Krogstad, and now he was about to expose her secret. Also Nora tells Kristine that she will be taking Krogstad's place in the bank, that's why he is black mailing her, because he was fired. And so Kristine offers her help, and tells Nora about the relationship she had with Krogstad, and with that she goes to Krogstad's house, but he wasn't there so she leaves a note. and goes back to Nora's house for dinner.
             Act III: Krogstad shows up at the Helmer's home, Kristine is there waiting for him, she tell him that she wants to go back with him, and he agrees, then Kristine asks him to save Nora, and he begins to doubt the real reasons why she wants to get back with him, and she tells him that she wouldn't sacrifice her happiness again, and so he agrees to help Nora and they walk out of the house together. Soon Torvald and Nora arrive at the house, and Nora is upset because Torvald didn't want to saty at the party any longer. While they're in their bedroom, Helena shows up and brings a letter to them, the letter is from Dr. Rank and it has a black cross in the front of the envelope, Nora explains to Torvald that the meaning of the cross is that Dr. Rank had committed suicide. After that Nora tells Torvald to go and read his mail, she insists and so he goes to his office and does so, a while later he comes out of his office enraged, he had just read tha letter Krogstad left in their mail box, he tells Nora that she had ruined his life, and that she was never to see the children again.
