Social Acceptance

            We need to eradicate our Hispanic gangs by making it socially unacceptable with in the communities where they come from, this kids are feared, respected and glorified around they're circle. We need to stop this from the source; I believe that if we put the same kind of effort that has being put into eradicating drinking and driving this could be a battle that can be won. Just remember 30 years ago drinking and driving was practiced and embraced by society, it was practiced as a social event and after president Regan's years this all changed, social acceptance towards drinking and driving was no more. People had a different view on the subject, it was wrong. All the media power that could be used was imposed upon every American and other parts of the world soon followed. Gangs in America are corrupting our future generations, if we put the same kind of effort in the beginning of the source, if we make it socially unaccepted, if we can make it clear that being part of a gang member is not only wrong but stupid and we impose the same kind of laws in to it, like, extreme fines for being part of a gang, community service sanctions and must complete a school training that they have to pay for where they"ll learn about the history of gangs and the amount of damage that they cause, and the alternatives that they have to joining a gang this could be a battle that could be won.
