Career Path

My childhood is something that doesn't bring a smile to my face when I think about it. I was the youngest of sixteen, and I hated every aspect of that. I was born in Alton, IL where my mother took care of siblings and me. My dad had a job in Chicago so I really never seen him that much. When I was three years old I was put in foster care, not by will, but by force. From there I lived in about ten different homes, and about six different towns. One of the hardest things for me to do when I moved to new towns was to make friends. I was really shy and kept to myself. I was tired of being the loner so I decided to start telling jokes to make people laugh. I quickly became known as the class clown and made plenty of friends. Ever since then comedy has been my life. I love to laugh and I love to make other people laugh. That's why I decided to pick Theatre as my major so I can become an actor and entertain millions of people. .
My values are something that I cherish very much. One of my most important values is my family and friends. If I"m ever in trouble or need something, they are always there to help me out. I really don't depend on my mother are father simply because they weren't around when I was growing up. I"m really close to my siblings and I count on them for everything. My family and friends was the only people around when I was going through rough times and that's why they are so valued to me. Another thing that I really value is my hometown. I was born in Alton, IL and spent a few years there. I then moved to Est. Louis, then to Carlyle. Out of all of them towns, none of them really felt at home to me. That feeling changed when I moved to Edwardsville, IL in 1997. It was a really nice town with a lot of nice people. There wasn't gang banging and drug dealing on the corner like my previous homes. I truly believe if I would have stayed in my previous homes before I moved to Edwardsville, that I would be selling drugs on the street with no education.
