Strusture of the essay

Finally, Sir Francis Bacon writes, "So if a man's wit be wandering, let him study mathematics one thing to prove and illustrate another, let him study lawyer's cases", which points out that for every mind out there, a subject has been created to satisfy the intellect. If someone is interested in demonstrations, then mathematics provides the opportunity to take one thing (formula) and solve problems using the limited information, if someone is interested in finding distinctions, then he should concentrate on schoolmen, and if the mind requires proof and evidence, then law should be a focus. Thus, the main idea and its amplification becomes clear in developmental parallelism, which contributes to the well understanding of the argument presented.
Continuing the parallelism in the structure of literature, syntactical parallelism is the next main highlight of the essay. The author uses many sentences that introduce three points or ideas in a list, which helps the reader, organize thought and identify their significance within that sentence. The first example comes from the quote "Crafty men contemn studies, simple men admire them, and wise men use them won by observation". In this sentence, the three types of men are compared and put in the order of importance from the least being the first the most being the last. Devious men despise studies and that's why they are all the lowed lever on the arc of standard, customary men value studies, but sharp-witted men use what they acknowledge, allowing them to surface high on the standards. Similarly, Bacon says, "Histories make men wise: poets. Witty; the mathematics, subtile; natural philosophy, deep; moral, grave; logic and rhetoric, able to contend" which helps the reader to clearly associate each subject with the virtue. Each subject learned completes the puzzles of ones soul and complete a man. To accomplish a complete soul, cleverness, subtlety, deepness, morality, and competence is necessary.
