Martial Law

Way, way back 26 years ago, the country was unaware of what was to happen. There was tranquility everywhere until one man conquered the country through his abused power and might which in return, started another chapter in the lives of the Filipinos. Once again, the country became prisoner of an eagle's claws.
Oh, what a circus! Ferdinand Edralin Marcos, an intelligent and respected person, was responsible for everything! He made the Philippines a playground for all his vices together with his wife, Imelda Romualdez Marcos. If I"m not mistaken, he has performed very well during his early terms. But what happened next? Nothing, as of now, stops me from thinking that he just built up his character during his early term so that he could run again and do his thing. It's hard to believe but it's true that many must be made responsible for all the happenings during the Martial Law reign. First of all, those Rolex 12. I am particular with those who really know the true plans of Marcos. Why did the congress approve the transition of the government to parliamentary? That just gave Marcos more power as a future dictator. Enrile, too, shouldn't have agreed to participate in that ambush act. Though, he was one of those who ignited the People's Power, he still has a lot to do with the Martial Law. Next, should the authorities before acted on the bombing of Plaza Miranda, Marcos could have been stopped. I admit that there's not enough basis to indict Marcos, but we don't know, it could have been him.
Mrs. Marcos, maker of centers. How was it possible that she was able to buy all her flaws during that time? Could have the wage of the president suffice all her need- those perfume, elegant dresses and shoes. On the other side, I admire her for letting the country have all those wonderful buildings and centers. The Philippines really needed to have all those. But, they said that there wasn't enough budget or that the government was becoming bankrupt.
