Many types of students can negatively affect the classroom, but there are three kinds of students that can single handily obliterate the learning process. They can be picked out of any crowd. When they walk into the room, everyone cringes. There is usually at least one in every class. They don't come to class to learn; they are there because they have to be. They goof off and distract everyone from what is being taught. Worst of all, they drag other kids down to their level and are able send a completely calm classroom to disorder in a matter of seconds. They are known all to well as the Three W's: The Wisenheimer, the Wiggler, and the Whiner.
The Wisenheimers are the worst of the three and do the best job of causing chaos in the classroom. They closely resemble smart alics but are worse in that they do more than smart off. They run their mouths all the time about anything and everything. They try their best to annoy everyone around them by pestering others or saying mean things. They also are known to play all kinds of practical jokes. They think they know all the answers to all the questions and don't hesitate to show their ignorance. They are usually in the class to learn, but they don't care about what is being taught. They get into trouble all the time, but they can usually find a way out of the trouble they so often find themselves in. This makes the other kids in the room upset. In the end, they are sly to the core. They place blame on everyone but themselves, and they can manipulate their way in and out of punishment better than anyone.
The next group is called the Wigglers. For some reason, they just can't sit still. They are always playing with something or moving around in their seats. Some of them don't just limit their movement to their seats. As if their seat isn't big enough, for some reason they feel like they have the need to move all around the room. All this movement is very distracting, and it makes it hard for anyone to pay attention.
