I'd like to tell you a little bit about teddy bears.things that maybe you don't already know.
I really don't mean to brag, but I must say that at the Coach House Collection we think that teddy bears make ideal companions. I say that for several good reasons. First of all, we are very versatile. We get purchased (we prefer to think of it as adoption) by our new owners (we prefer to think of them as our human companions) for all sorts of reasons. Maybe as a gift for a sick child or adult; maybe as a gift for a new baby or some other special occasion; maybe as part of a collection; or maybe just because someone thinks we're cute. Whatever the reason, you can be assured that we'll do the job well. We're especially good at that "just cute" bit. After all, whoever heard of an ugly teddy bear? Sorry, there I go bragging again.
Many humans get their first teddy bear companion when they are children. Many of you, I'm sure, have fond memories of your first teddy bear. Some of you probably still have that special friend. Maybe you've tucked it away in your treasures; maybe it's proudly displayed in your home; or maybe you've passed it along to your children or even grandchildren. Wherever it is, I'm sure it brings back fond memories, and I'll bet you can't resist the temptation to give it a hug each time you see it.
Hugs are something else we're specially known for. We love them! We love getting them and we gladly give them back. Lots of humans send a teddy bear to their special friends who are too far away to hug in person. We gladly do the job for them. I'm really proud of that part of our tradition. In fact, I get a warm fuzzy feeling whenever I think about it.
Before I go on, I'd like to ask all of you a question or two. You don't have to raise your hand or anything like that. I'm not asking this to embarrass anyone, but if either of these situations apply to you, I just want you to listen for a minute.
