Is there any way you could leave me alone? Maybe we could chit chat another day-.
I recall him looking disappointed and asked, "Tell me your name then I will leave you alone." I told him my name and he goes and says, "Wow, what a beautiful name." I remembered smiling nervously, wondering when he would go away. I was getting very annoyed and irritated at the same time while wondering what I should do to get away.
"Well, enjoy your lunch, I am going to go to another class now. See you around," I said, as I gathered my belongings and left.
A few days later, he found me walking to Computer Commons. He approached me and said, "So we meet again." I gave a little smile as I kept walking towards my destination. "Do you want to grab something to eat?" he asked. I told him no because I had to study again. He kept walking with me and trying to make useless conversation, asking what I majored in, if I stayed here all day, and such. I answered trying to be polite, but he then he started to ask me where I lived and what I did on weekends. Though the conversation seemed very friendly at first, I just could not help feeling uncomfortable around him. He just had this aura about him that I did not like. I told him that I wanted to have time to myself so I could concentrate on studying. I told him I had an upcoming test and I would prefer it if I had no one around to distract me. He told me it was ok, looking a little irritated and left in the other direction. .
The next week arrived and somehow he spotted me again. He asked me how I was, what I did over the weekend, and proceeded to ask for my number. I told him that I had a boyfriend. I remember him saying, "Well you know boyfriends don't last for a long time. We can be just friends anyway. We can be study buddies. So can I have your number?" I hesitated, but thought that he was harmless and maybe just trying to be friendly, so I gave him my number and we separated ways.
