What is the Point of View of genetic Manipulation in our Soc

            Genetic manipulation has to do with rearranging, adding, or deleting genetic material for the purpose of bringing about desired changes in living organism.
             Since the seventies scientists are able to improve and extend life by genetic manipulation.
             Many scientists believe that throughout genetic manipulation many different kinds of diseases will or can be destroyed. In the near future genetic illnesses like breast cancer or Parkinson will no longer be a great threat to our society. In contrast of the believe of scientist some Christians say that life is something untouchable. They say God is the creator of all living organism and that we ought not to play for God by genetically manipulate these living organism. These Christians believe that Christianity is a religion for personal salvation or for the preservation of eternal values and that it has nothing to do with genetic manipulation. Our society as a whole must analyse the individual pros and cons of genetic manipulation. We need to ask ourselves if genetic manipulation has a place in our world.
             According to some people who are looking at this matter from an ethical point of view, are saying that accepting genetic manipulation will be an invasion of one's genetic privacy and once accessible it could be easily misused by people who have access, which could to the scenario of genetic discrimination. Many people also feel that genetic technology will have all kinds of social and judicial problems. They also say that once accessible genetic manipulation will only be available for the wealthy while the less fortunate will not be able to enjoy the benefit that genetic manipulation could bring.
             However a large number of people have another point of view concerning genetic manipulation. They say that this technology can lead to fewer diseases which eventually bring a better and longer life of all living organism. They say that because of genetic manipulation people are given the opportunity to handpick their child and their qualities even before the child is conceived.
