Low Standard of Living in Slovakia

Will Slovaks finally get what they deserve?.
High unemployment, poverty and outflow of young intelligence abroad - these are the bad characteristics of Slovakia. What are people and our country missing? Why citizens of other countries have more opportunities to create a life, as they desired? The answer is simple. Slovakia with its many problems can not offer to its citizens an appropriate standard of living. The question that hangs in the air asks: "What can be done in our country to overcome these negative factors and to give people what they deserves? In order to help our country to increase living standards, Slovak economy has to step into a system of fiscal policy which has already secured a high living standard in countries where was implemented.
Slovakia is not a big country and that is why it should not be hard to debar Slovaks from the poverty and offer them standards that match with those of other countries. Unfortunately, it is not as simple and easy, as it seems. It is not so long ago when Slovakia was liberated from communist regime. All of a sudden, Slovaks were faced to many unknown changes. Transition of Slovak economy from state to market caused unemployment, prices went up and poverty spread along. Democracy gave 'red' to the unbalanced standard of living among Slovaks that goes hand in hand with wildly spread criminality and corruption. The base of our economy was transferred to the west and the rest of Slovakia seems to be forgotten. But what about people? What solutions should be used to overcome these problems? .
The first alternative solution that might increase the level of living of Slovaks can be done through the monetary policy of central banks (The Central Bank of Slovakia). Monetary policy is based on two tools. The first is the discont rate that represents the rate which central bank provides to commercial bank the money for. The second is based on the amount of money in the total economic circle (money that are printed and used).
