Cloning

Cloning is the production of an exact replica of a living cell from one parent cell (Kayotic). This process can be done in lab and for a complete copy of a whole organism; it takes as long as it would for the birth of a normal organism. There are many groups that believe cloning is against the natural way of life and should not be done. This paper defends that argument that cloning is not wrong and that it could, one day, save lives.
Today, nuclear transfer is the way of cloning a whole organism, such as a sheep or a cow. The process begins with an enucleated egg. A stem cell from a different animal is then fused with the enucleated egg cell from the original animal. The two animals, in which the cells come from, are the same type of animal, such as two sheep or two cows, but not the same animal. An electric current is passed trough the two cells to fuse them together. The parent stem cell now begins to direct the function of the enucleated egg cell. The two cells have now become one. This new cell is placed in side the uterus of a surrogate mother and would then be allowed to grow and develop. After a normal length pregnancy, the surrogate mother would give birth to an exact replica of the animal that provided the original stem cell . .
By reading the previous paragraph you have looked into the world of cloning and it is pointed out the cloning is not the writing of DNA , or genetic code. The process is not very evasive to the animals and they are unharmed during the whole process. And still, the final product is just a copy of the original animal. We cannot design what the animal will be like. We must work with what we have been given. In recent years, yes, scientists have been able to map out the human genome , but this does not mean we can create it. We still must use what Mother Nature as written.
There are some religious groups in the world that have the idea that cloning is a moral sin and should not be done or even thought of.
