             Knowing your Audience/Bridge Communication Gap.
             People are the greatest resources of every organization, therefore it is imperative to share goals, visions, and objectives such that there is lack of ambiguity or misinterpretation of information which can exist due to the complexity of communication. Where there is division in vision, focus, goals or objectives, success becomes elusive. An effective leader knows his audience, their preferred method of communication and utilizes it. .
             Clear and Concise Communication of Goals, Objectives, and Vision.
             To be an effective leader, one must possess the ability to communicate clearly and concisely for the purpose of delivering corporate visions, goals and objectives. House (1996) defined vision as a transcendent ideal that represents shared values. He suggest charismatic leaders should demonstrate among other behaviors, the ability to articulate an ideology that enhances goal clarity, task focus, and value congruence. An effective leader shares ideas in a way that speaks into the emotions and aspirations of his team or audience, encourages open communication environment where members of the organization can share feedbacks, ideas and critism at every level, inspires inclusiveness which is the feeling of being a part of the bigger picture. .
             Listening Skills and the Use of Senses.
             Skills acquired and/or knowledge gained are only valuable to the extent they can be practically applied when called for. Effective Leaders display a heightened sense of situational and contextual awareness. They are great listeners and astute in their observations. Great communicators that are skilled at reading a person/group by sensing the moods, dynamics, attitudes, values and concerns of those being communicated with. Not only do they read their environment well, they also possess the extraordinary ability to adapt their messaging to said environment without missing a beat.
