So I quietly put my ear to the door trying to eavesdrop but all got out of the conversation that it was coming soon. When I say soon I didn't know it was going to be that upcoming Wednesday. An event that would only be the start to the beginning of my new life.
Wednesday morning, I woke up for school at 7:30 as usual laid around for about fifteen minutes as usual, got out of the bed, threw something on, brushed my teeth, went downstairs to eat a little something before I went to school. All the usual, nothing out of the ordinary. I went to school at 9 am, did reading, math, went to lunch, had recess, the daily routine. 4:07 pm a time I will never forget. I walked out of school to look for my father who always picks me up right on time at 4pm was not outside. My mind tried not to worry and stress but of course my mind was wondering if "it" was the reason my father was tardy picking me up and my gut feeling was correct. .
My father or what I thought was my father finally arrived to the school at 4:07 pm in a new car, which im not sure how he could afford due to the fact that he was currently unemployed. He had a blank stare as I got into the car. I asked him about the car and how he got it and why he got it and he kept making a nstrange noise as like he didn't understand what I was saying. As we pulled off from the school and hit the corner there was a bright light that we drove straight into. I screamed thinking it was about to be a head on collision with another car, instead we would be sucked into another universe. I turned to see what my father was doing our how he was reacting to our current predicament, but as I looked over my father was no longer sitting in the seat. My father had been replaced by a green individual with 2 antennas with eyes on the end, long slimy green fingers with round tips, he had big transparent belly, and long skinny legs with feet and toes to match his incredibly ugly hands.
