In this program, Google had aimed to raise $11 million through donation campaign. The raised funds were to be given to humanitarian organizations aiding the thousands of refugees that have of recent astounded the European countries. The refugees flee their countries due to war, poverty and other humanitarian crimes. Among the organization which benefited from the funds are; Doctors without borders, International Rescue Committee, Save the Children and UN High Commissioner for Refugees. These funds thus help directly in improving the living conditions of refugees. Corporate Social Responsibilities are not aimed at making profits but a way of giving back to the society which has been part of the company's growth. In the case of Google Company, the company is rewarding its customers by raising funds to help refugees in living a better life (Paetzold, 2010). .
             There are several factors that drive an organization's interest to pursue the corporate social responsibility agenda .These factors are such as:.
             1. Growing investor pressure where companies aim to improve their reputation towards investors by offering Corporate Social Responsibility.
             2. Increased customer interest. This has an influence in that companies want to increases and maintain customers (Hunnicutt, 2009).
             3.0 Arguments in favor of companies practicing CSR.
             In the today world any business whether small or big, it needs to have Corporate Social Responsibility in place. In case CSR is not part of the business practice then the business risks losing out the trust of some of it is who are important in the business. Corporate Social Responsibility thus has advantages which when incorporated to the business practice will favor the company's existence. Some of this advantages are as discussed below;.
             3.1 Company with Satisfied Employees.
             Employees in most places are not only happier and satisfied by the high pay and generous holiday allowances offered by a company.
