I believe that the Baltimore Ravens will make the playoffs this year. They have a lot of talented players, and if they don't get injured, I believe we can make the playoffs, and maybe even the Super Bowl. We have speedy receivers, a quarterback with a strong arm, and an elite running back. On defense, we have all-pro edge rushers, a great defensive line, and a good cornerback. But we have to be better than teams like the Bengals and Bills to make the playoffs.
The Ravens have a lot of talent, but their key players are Justin Forsett, Breshad Perriman, and Terrell Suggs. Justin Forsett didn't live up to expectations last season, only rushing for 64.1 yards per game, after rushing for 79.125 in his first season in Baltimore. He did break his arm during his tenth game, but in the first nine games, he averaged 68 ⅓ yards per game. I think that was just a slow season for him, and look for him to be better this season. Breshad Perriman is the type of receiver Joe Flacco needs on the team. Full of speed, Perriman will be the perfect guy to run a go route. He didn't play last season, but don't be surprised if he explodes onto the scene this year. Terrell Suggs tore his Achilles in our loss against the Broncos, which was our season opener. Terrell Suggs is arguably our best defensive player and he is also the leader of our team.
One of the Ravens' strengths is our offensive line. Marshal Yanda is a two-time First Team All-Pro player (2014 and 2015), two-time Second Team All-Pro player (2011 and 2012), and was ranked the #1 guard by Profootballfocus.com in 2015. Another one of our strengths is our safeties. Free agent pickup Eric Weddle is a two-time First Team All-Pro player (2011 and 2014), a three-time Second Team All-Pro player (2010, 2012, and 2013), and was the interceptions leader in 2011, with seven interceptions. Matt Elam, our other safety, didn't play last season, but is an up and coming safety that could possibly have his breakout year.
