This could be because of the wrong reason people marry, instead to wait and know why their first marriage didn't work and take correction. Spouses who engage themselves in such marital education hardly experience break up because, they have been fully educated with the ideas of what and what not to expect in marriage and how to tackle their problems if any should come up.
