A Bourgeois Revolution - The French Revolution

The first estate population was of around 130,000 people, the second estate was of 110,000 people and the third estate was of 25,000,000 people. The difference between the three estates caused the third estate population to revolt because of numerous causes such as the first and second estate people were privileged and had many exemptions while the third estate did not had any privilege and moreover it was those people who had to pay for all the taxes. The first and second estate people had the privileges such as they had the control of education and they also owned twenty percent of land. The fact that the third estate had no privilege but they had to pay all the taxes caused them to revolt against the French monarch as this was injustice to them.
The second cause of the revolution can be considered to be the American Revolution. The American Revolution took place in the 1776. This was considered as one of the causes of the French Revolution due to the fact that the French population had to incur an enormous debt by helping the Americans who had been facing a huge loss in their business and their loss in their business led their people to recession. Moreover, it was stated that the Americans had to face economic problems such that there was absolute famine which reigned due to bad weather and bad crops. Helping the Americans led the French population in a bad state and when the Americans recovered they did not even bother to look back on the French and the French viewed the Americans obtaining freedom which somehow led the French people to revolt. Another immediate cause of the French Revolution is the rising price of the bread. As the third estate people were controlled by the first estate people, it was difficult for them to gain control over the harvests of the grains which was kept by the nobles. Moreover, bread was considered as the sole form of food which was accessible to the poor population and the rising price of it would cause great disagreement among the people.
