Furthermore, finding your true identity or true self may be difficult, especially when you're doing other people's homework, just to fit in some cool and popular group at school. Was it fair? No! For example, it was one early morning in my Geometry class, right when I was going to sit down in my desk Brian, the hottest guy in class approached up to me. He asked me if I had done the math homework, and if I didn't mind showing it to him to copy. And of course, I excited, nervous, scared, and heart beating so fast, I handed it to him. I couldn't believe it though because this stuff only happens in movies. Days continued to pass by, and each day that went by Brian would ask me for the math homework. It made me feel good each time he would ask me, but those were the only times he would actually talk to me. During a football game I was sitting down on the benches when I seen Brian with a bunch of other cool kids walking my way. I shouted Brian's name loud enough for him to hear me and waved my hand several times to him, and when he finally seen me waving at him, Brian just stared at me for a little, and quickly turned another way. And so I wanted to believe he didn't see me so I texted him instead, and said hi and he replied. "Who is this?" I responded, "Iliana! Silly," and he texted back, "Who is that?" I told myself, after several times I gave him the math homework he couldn't even remember my name at least. That's when the things started to make more sense to me, but I didn't hate Brian for that because it was my fault for letting people treat me the way they did. I knew I was worth more than just a piece of paper just a whole bunch on numbers written on it. But it has been said, you learn from your own mistakes. In these instance, it is more than obvious that finding your true identity is important, in order to avoid having to feel betrayed or used. .
