It is no doubt that this matter is needed to take more seriously in developing countries than in developed countries. But this paper is not going deeper in to this side of the problem, it focus on youth employment in general. .
Causes .
From both economists and analysis's points of view, several reasons are blamed to have risen graduate unemployment . Firstly, the most trendy and well-known reason: Unpaid internship. Undergraduates, most of whom come from wealthy families, are eager and volunteer to apply for any internship program available then there will be a decrease in the company's need for officer employment. And the graduates who ,at that time want to go for a real job ,become abundant and unemployed. When this situation go on for a long time , the less experiences the graduates can learn and the longer unemployment they undergo , which also explain the second reasons : Graduates do not have enough experiences to take on a real job. Meanwhile , since the world economy has had drastically change over the last two decades , employers need more qualified candidates, more fully-developed skills in their employees , which are requirements that most graduate do not meet up with. In addition, due to the old education system , graduates, especially unexperienced ones, usually have unrealistic mindsets. They are likely to dream more and work less, they are also very picky when it comes to applying for jobs since they always seek for the ones that meet their expectation and fit with their dreams . More over , since the beginning of the twentieth- first century, baby boomer was a big concern and the consequences of this problem do affect the graduate unemployment. Since more babies are born, the competition for a job vacancy will become more drastically ,and that also lead to the increase in number of graduate unemployment .

In many countries the government has to pay the unemployed some benefits.
