Older women like Victoria secret models are imposed on teenagers. Teenage girls find it necessary to be "sexy" because of these implications. It may not be something we can change right now but it is something we must try to change because it is awful to set standards on someone's body. .
Now this may sound somewhat contradictory to what was stated before but women censorship and how it is wrong. This is something I personally strongly agree with. I believe it is wrong the censorship of women on media. Women being censored for posting images that relate to the menstrual cycle for example. Or women being censored for showing their nipples. Or maybe even the fact that women are shunned for breast feeding in public. These are all things that should be addressed. Women go through a menstrual cycle every month it is nothing out of the "norm" so why has the social media instagram repeatedly removed the image of a women in stained trousers? Instagram removed it because it violated "community guidelines". Based on the photographer's personal blog Kaur believes this incident reflects a growing problem with censorship on the network. I also believe this, men know that it happens and other women clearly know as well it is a part of nature so why has society oppressed it. This is not the only type of wrongful censorship happening. Women's upper body is of the same anatomy as that of men yet we are censored for having more fatty tissue on our breast. Men have nipples that consist of the exact same components of the nipples women have. The one difference however is a women's nipple is wrong to see. Women are shunned for showing their nipples because they are then seen as "slutty", yet men walk around topless and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Women are deprived of their rights to be free even if that means to be topless. A current protest against women censorship is known as the Free The Nipple movement.
