It involves all the same symptoms as Major depression does, except it's not as short. This type of depression is extremely dangerous. It can lead to a reduced appetite, loss of energy or overeating. A person with this disorder is likely to experience irritability, decreased need in sleep, racing thoughts and many others. People living with this might also experience symptoms of depression, as well as mood swings.

You'll experience low energy levels, not wanting to leave your bed, loss of interest in normal day activities that you enjoy, and a loss in appetite or weight problems. Sleeping problems may also occur where you either can't get to sleep, or wake up many times during the night, causing you to be extremely tired the next day. Thoughts of death or suicide may happen.
