Overview of Savant Syndrome

Today researchers still attempt to find better solutions to the cause but as there are only few patients with the syndrome in the world and assessable medical equipment and treatment becomes hard to locate for each of these people and the process becomes costly (Autism After 16).
             This particular condition relates to cognition as the special eye catching talents of the savants need to acquire, store, retrieve and use information to make their talent possible and these processes all look back on the way our minds enable these people to have such creative minds (Discoblog). People with savant syndrome can promptly recall missing information from previous occurrences. The information that becomes rapidly recalled simply remind the human's brain of the remembrance of the information and gets formed into their long term memory. The ability allows the person to allow their memories of visual images in their head to appear into their implicit memories, involving procedural and classically conditioned memory stores mainly. Sufferers with autistic savants have a greater and wider understanding at encoding compared to the average human as this is the learning stage of information and they are quick learners.              It is evident from findings that autistic savants are benefitted in the way most of them are well-known and living with a feature like no other. Savants are able to rapidly put their skills into practice meaning there are downfalls in other areas like socially being able to quickly reaction when coming into contact with another person.
