Biography of F. Scott Fitzgerald

This book showed how well he excelled as a writer and created connections/relations in his works of art that distinguished him from any other writer. Fitzgerald made tons upon tons of stories and book, but not all of them being successful at all, but he did what he loved and he did other things to make money but still do what he loves.
Fitzgerald has a different writing style than most, one that can seem confusing or misleading to even a skilled reader and analyzer. His sentence structure is usually always long, and with the long sentences he creates an odd path in every sentence. Fitzgerald leads onto rambling sentence where he starting on one subject and leads you on to something entirely different. It may seem confusing to nearly all readers who read his work, but it is intentionally done to created connections in his works. These connections created intricate maps into his stories to bring paths and connections together to find a far greater meaning than what is implied. An example of his unique sentences of the fourth paragraph of chapter one of The Great Gatsby he says, "If personality is an unbroken series of successful gestures, then there was something gorgeous about him, some heightened sensitivity to the promises of life, as if he were related to one of those intricate machines that register earthquakes ten thousand miles away." Fitzgerald start his sentence off with description of his views on, "personality," then brings up a man that he compares this idea of personality to saying how he fits his idea so gorgeously; then an odd comparison to tectonic plate readers. There is never reasoning for his rambling sentences, there is a deeper meaning than what some cannot analyze. Fitzgerald knows what he is doing and has such control over his sentences; his meaning towards his subjects is so specific in his writing. Fitzgerald's movement of his story pull you and down into his story and makes you take different paths throughout his stories that create side meanings that connect with his main meanings.
