Immigration is always going to happen whether you like it or not, but people never stop to think why immigrants migrate here; maybe there's a deeper reason than you may percept. We all have our opinions about immigration, but it seems now of days no one stops and stares at the facts on why they move to the U.S., so today I will tell you why people move to the United States, the difficulties of immigration, and finally my own opinion of immigration.
There are many reasons that people move here such as: Government, religion, job opportunities, family, education, and push and pull factors of weather. People are fleeing their government to come to America because their ruler isn't ruling in the interest of their people or are treating their people cruelly for reasons of ethnicity, religion, political opinion or coming for reasons of democracy. Freedom of religion may be a basic human right, but some regions don't accept other religions and often treat those with different religions very poorly. People, usually young people, are leaving poorer parts of the world in search of job opportunities in the richer part of the world. For many years immigrants have been leaving Mexico and parts of Central America in search of jobs in the US. By saying poorer parts of the country is no exaggeration, if we put every single human being in a line according to money we would all be in the richest part of the world while they would be the ones closest to the end. Once an immigrant has found better opportunities in our country, he or she will often try to have to bring their family back with them to the U.S. Young people seeking better educational opportunities at then what they have at home will often look towards the U.S. offering opportunities not available at their home country. Poor environment, climate change, limited access to water, bad food production are factors forcing many people to leave their countries and come to America.
