The Humanities, Revolutions and Romanticism

Since economics is a rather an interesting subject to me, I will also finally be able to meet some key figures from the past. Entrepreneurship is the path I want to embark in life, so witnessing Adam Smith advocate laissez-faire in the changing economic system of the time is something that catches my interest. The next economist on the list to meet is Thomas Malthus. After reading about all of the reasons why Malthus's theory on population is wrong in books today, I would challenge him and be really curious to see how he responds. .
After having my fun in the Industrial Revolution, it's time to set the date to 1775! The American Revolution is the time period I feel that most Americans are fascinated by, so I must experience it first-hand. Once I am done with my grueling boat ride over the Atlantic from Europe to America, I will finally be able to see how us Americans protested and fought for our freedom. As an American today, I feel like our visions of freedom are different from what they were in the past, because of how our government came into play. By going back into time, I will discuss our current society today and see how our founding fathers would react to it. Not only will I engage in many conversations with historical figures, but there is so many notable events in American history that happened during this time that I will just sit back and watch. For example, The Boston Massacre, The Boston Tea Party, and the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Moving along in my time traveling adventures, it is time to go back over seas and experience another crucial historical revolution in this era, the French Revolution. A big factor why I want to time travel back to this revolution is because of its worldwide lasting effects and big impact in modern history. I did not get too much information about the French Revolution studying history in the United States, so going back in time will enable me to learn most of it.
