According to the DSM, in order to be diagnosed with inattention based ADHD, the child must present six or more specific symptoms. Based on observational inferences, Ashley presents many of the symptoms in the inattentiveness category. Children who present inattentiveness show this in many forms. Children may not pay close attention to a particular objective. Children show this predominately in their schooling environment.
