Overtime, new things replace the old. .
In the second ad, W, the cover is dramatic, from the makeup, down to the very apparel the models are wearing. In this day and age, people are influenced by culture. Our culture involves a lot of social media, watching the every move of athletes, music artists, movie stars, and many more. Our culture today is one that cares about how we look to everyone. It's a very impressionable age, as we are influences by television commercials, and things that we see on our phones as well as social media. The cover of the magazine has several subtitles, however one that stood out to me is "The Look of the Moment". In this society now everything goes so quickly, mainly based upon social media and how quickly things can get around. The second ad, W; shows the model/singer Rihanna in very high glam makeup, she has a septum noise ring with blue eye shadow all over her forehead as well. She presents a very dark presence from this magazine cover, at the bottom of the magazine cover the it says "FallFashion.Drama" which is exactly what the model presents in her picture she exemplifies what fashion has escalated to. .
Things from previous eras set drawings boards for the present. If you think about it, people don't remain famous for doing the same things over and over again. Instead, they look for new ways to remain popular, or to reinvent themselves. For example; Nicki Minaj gained fame from being different. She had crazy hairstyles and crazy outfits. However, she didn't stay that way. She had to change it up or people would've grown tired of her. Same as how fashion changes over the years. The second ad, W; also has three models that set a modified and fresh tone for the new look of fashion. The models exemplified a bold detailed look. .
If you think about it if things didn't change over time, there would be no need for improvement. Things would be considered as perfected, or have no time for change.
