I was like woah.hold on a minute.now that you say that yes, thats exactly why I continue to surround myself with these people. Thats exactly why. I was too caught up in what everyone else was gonna think of me. I was too focused on how I was going to be viewed and it actually was the same reason I was so unhappy. Once Tyriek put it into perspective I realized that I needed to disassociate myself from those people. This is a huge factor in whether or not I want to keep you around as a friend. There is a certain slang word, FAMO. This term originated in DC from my friend group as we were all sitting around contemplating our group this past summer. We realized that the kids we were with (myself, Patrick, Tommy, Hayden, Adam, Tyriek, EJ, Forrest) were kids we felt so comfortable around its as if we were family. FAMO is used to describe friends that would go to worlds end with one another just because we could. There is nothing I wouldn't do for the FAM. You only use it when you are serious about meaning it, and it is not a title given loosely, you have to earn it. You have to prove to your friend that you really are there for them.
